“I t’s been a great pleasure to work with YY over the past 3.5 years, which have flown by. I will miss the team greatly, but am looking forward to re-joining Nike as a Senior Materials Designer in Jordan (ETW). I look forward to working with you all at Nike.”

“S abrina Mallen has over 25 years in materials. She recently retired from Nike after 21 years where she has unique experiences in manufacturing & sourcing, innovation, and product creation on both the footwear and apparel side. She is originally from North Carolina, where she attended NCSU School of Textiles and worked for a leading US textile mill after college. She and her husband have 2 kids and enjoy hiking, trips together to Sunriver and Hawaii, and DIY projects. Sabrina loves people, materials, and problem solving and will continue to pursue her passion of teaching materials at the University of Oregon while working with You Young and Nike.”

Y OUYOUNG has established official US Technical support Center (YY PDX) located in Beaverton (near the city hall) and created two brand new roles. Sabrina will be YY’s Technical lead and Advisor role including innovation and development consultation, troubleshooting and internal coaching. Rio will continue as You Young ’ s Head of Sales and Marketing but moved to PDX. He will work full-time in same time zone with Nike WHQ and close to Nike, bring his decision-making power from Korea to PDX. The key mission of YY PDX is prompt customer service & high level of technical support for designers and developers anytime, anywhere. Upgraded expertise and diverse reference tools of YY PDX will increase customer satisfaction.
