A cushioning SW material with a point pattern added using BR yarn

A SW material with Perfect Holes in various shapes that are open on both sides, providing a soft hand-feel.

A net mesh made with a combination of thick and thin denier yarns. It has excellent breathability and feels hand-knitted.

Eco-friendly textile made by blending Tencel and recycled CDP into a textured knit material. With mechanical stretch, it provides comfortable stability.

Innovation

The Rainbow film material and transparent Ripstop material were bonded together through high-frequency welding without lamination. The iridescence of the Rainbow and the Y-pattern pressed in high frequency are revealed over the transparent Ripstop material.

Updates to PDX office. New

The PDX office recently relocated to a larger and more open space to better accommodate and serve our partners. Since its inception, PDX office has served as a collaboration and technical support center. Over the past two years, PDX has hosted numerous events and engaging with diverse groups of people to swiftly meet customer needs whether it is problem solving or providing trend relevant materials. PDX office has hosted many textile based classes and discussions revolved around different types and characteristics of textiles in footwear applications, problem-solving methodologies, and case studies focused on footwear and sample materials from YY. The PDX team welcomes visitors to come look for inspiration or engage in training.

In 2024, Bill Young joined the PDX office team as the Creative Director. Bill has 24 years of experience as a footwear designer at Nike. He has lead many key digital creations project at Youyoung. He is currently spearheading designs for the SWEM development and innovation concepts for the YY team.
