Sandwich Engineered Mesh (DRSL JQD )

C omplex and various engineered patterns expressed SW structure. Repeat or shell type pattern can be customized. 3D Stereoscopic design consists of top, middle, bottom layer using DTY or mono yarn in middle layer.

Shearing JQD

D eveloped to achieve a velvet feel, YY’s shearing JQD uses a loop- cutting process after being reorganized into the terry JQD structure using our circular JQD machine. Inspired by animal prints, shearing JQD can express both regular and irregular patterns.

Circular Knit JQD What’s New

F rom 7G to 32G machines, various regular and irregular patterns are expressed through yarn thicknesses. Structure and mechanical stretch can also be controlled using various gauges. Recently, there has been a growing interest in the new technology, which can express soft touch while having a cushioning by adding DTY or Mono yarn in middle layer like sandwich structure.

Dragon Fly / Spider Web

I nspired by the tough and resilient look of spider webs, transparency is achievable by using mono and TPU yarns. Light and flexible, it has the advantage of being resistant to abrasion and tear.

Computer Embroidery

D eveloped with special embroidery property using Cord, it provides complex and diverse patterns, and textures by gradually stacking layers.

YY continues to develop forward-looking, progressive embroidery techniques using computerized technology.

TENCEL

Sustainability

T ENCEL is produced by environmentally responsible processes from the sustainably sourced natural raw material wood. Unique physical properties of Tencel Lyocell lead to their great strength, efficient moisture absorption and gentleness to skin. Also it can be combined with a wide range of textile fibers such as cotton, polyester, wool to enhance the aesthetics and functionality of fabrics.

Re-used Material

Y OUYOUNG is committed to protecting the environment. Our “Re-used Yarns” are made from pre- consumer textile waste. Re-used Poly and Re-used Wool yarn can be used in various process like weaving, knitting and etc. to make different kinds of products. Re-used materials have limitation to express custom color, but water can be saved without dyeing process.

Sustainability Y Y’s natural dye plant-based materials are mass-produced by possessing technology to understand and control the unique characteristics of natural dyes. Besides using natural materials like

Cotton and Tencel, YY is also expanding to use recycled Poly/Nylon for natural dyeing.

D igital printing with natural dye stuff is able to produce various patterns and designs, creating a mix of colors that is vintage and comfortable-looking. As environmental pollution caused by chemical dyeing can be reduced, the interest in natural dyeing & digital printing is increasing.

The new VN factory started operation in June. Transition to be completed in Q3.2021.

Low Liquor Dyeing

Y YVN is the largest shoe textile factory in Vietnam, which is approximately 4 times the size of the existing YYVN plant. 2nd approval of 31 products has been carried out since Q3. 2020. The new factory started dyeing and tentering process in Jun. 2021, and the full spectrum operation will begin in Oct. 2021.

New factory will maximize production efficiency through 4 times the size of Scale Up and Localized Sourcing.

It will also be the most environment-friendly factory equipped with recycling WWTE, Biomass Boiler, and Low Liquor Dyeing machines. More solar power system will be installed later this year, making it the most suitable factory for Nike's sustainability policy.

YY launched the New Warp knit R&D Center in Korea.

A new Innovation factory was built in Busan, Korea, including 6 of Double Raschel machine, with capacity of 85,000yd/month. To introduce the best quality products rapidly in response to Nike's various development requests, the new Innovation factory will develop various products from Aug. 2021. After successful Spec-in of various new products developed with new facilities such as Sandwich Engineered Mesh, we will establish our position as the No.1 Innovation factory in the industry.
